Infamy Pearl Harbor — Memorial Series Tee

$45.67 SGD

December 7, 1941. Oahu, Hawaii.

The following day, the President addressed a joint session of
Congress. The speech opened with seven words that outlived
everything else said that week: a date which will live in infamy.
Congress declared war that same afternoon.

The first typed draft didn't say that. It read "a date which will
live in world history." Two words were struck out by hand and
replaced with one. That correction is why the line is still
quoted eighty years later.

This design carries the words as they were spoken, with the date,
the place and the source set as an archive record — no illustration,
no reenactment, no invented detail.

Front print only. Sand ink on a dark garment.
